Thankful Thursdays

Well, it's once again thankful thursday and so i am going to tell you what i am thankful for this week. There is alot to be thankful for with just getting past christmas and heading into a new year. 1. My faith in the lord 2. My husband and my kids 3. Having a home 4. Being able to be with family for christmas I am thankful for everything and everyone who is in my life because without that i would not be the person i am today.

Whatever Whenever Wednesday

Well, it's wednesday and we survived christmas. I am glad it's over because preparing for christmas can be quite stressful and having family here can make it even more stressful with the yearly family drama. My folks have been up here since saturday and last night there was alot of family drama but oh well its done and over with. I love my folks but they can really stress me out from time to time. Do you ever go through that? Anyway, the kids had a great christmas, they got alot of stuff from santa and of course had us all up at 6 am to play with their presents so we were all quite exhausted by the time bedtime hit last night. I can't believe the year is almost over it went by quickly and this has been a pretty big year for us with john getting out of the army and moving and starting all over again.

Saturdays Top 5 Laughs

Well, its saturday and way too early to be up but that is ok because i have alot to get done today which is why this post is earlier than i normally would. Today is saturdays top 5 laughs. There are alot of things my family does and says to make me laugh but these are the top 5 laughs they have given me lately. 1. Thomas woke up this morning with his stuff animal and said ok snowboy this is a suicide mission lol!!! He's all big into the army and all the stuff that goes along with it. 2. Rachael our 5yr old, growls at her brothers and tells them to get out of her room. 3. My husband is sleeping on a mattress with our boys and rolls off on the floor making a really loud thud which i couldn't help but laugh my butt off. 4. Taylor and Thomas were making a comedy hour website. Their videos are hilarious 5. I burned the biscuits yep. Those are the funny moments in my house at the moments what were the top five funny moments at your house?

Family Time

Well, it's friday evening and the family is gathered in the living room cuddling on the couch under blankets and watching a movie. I love having family time and snuggling with the kids. To me family time is the most important thing a family can do especially when your kids are little. I want my kids to grow up and look back knowing we spent alot of quality time with them. Most kids these days don't get that, most kids these days have ipads, ipods, phones and game systems and you never see them. When i was growing up we didnt have that, i would stay outside and play from morning til night. My kids don't have all those things not that i don't wish i could get it for them but i want them to appreciate all the family time together doing things we did when i was growing up. It's important to spend time with the kids because one day you will turn around and they will be all grown up.

That is rediculous i can't believe people were really making a big deal about that. I mean seems like everything out there we all seem to fall for.
